A writer’s home

Most of us writers
We live in a shell
And it’s a very nice place
In which to dwell

For the only way a writer
Can fully tell his tale
Is to isolate himself
Much like a shy little snail

Having coffee on hand
Also helps us prevail
Otherwise,
We often become slugs!

    1. I have to admit, I have been very silly lately. Especially since Brian left. I think it’s my girls who are actually affecting me… I’m hanging out with a 16 yr old and an 8 yr old… It’s like a girls sleepover every night! Lol…

        1. Yeah, Auti (8) and I made homemade pizza together for dinner, and Brianna (16) and I sat and drooled over all the Pokemon stuff and anime costumes that were on Amazon. Or I should say, she drooled, and I just about peed my pants laughing at her excitement. Oh to be that young again!

            1. I certainly never will… but I did end up joining in the fun with my girls and drew an anime girl a few months ago. Lol…. I’ve never heard of Glitter Patrol, but it sounds like something my 8 yr old would really enjoy. If it’s pink and glittery, she’s all in! 😉

            2. Sounds good! We watch everything through our Roku and an antenna that gives us the local channels. So I’m not always aware of all the shows that are out there these days. Plus, I just don’t have the time to watch t.v. and I find it to be fairly boring when I do. I mean, why watch the boob tube when you can write… am I right? Lol… 😉
