Profound Destiny

grass-1209945_960_720

Destiny interceded
Deciding her fate
And in an unusual manner
She took the bait

A pivotal moment
Led her astray
A climatic juncture
Caused her to sway

In a profound measure
Of certain events
She stayed the course
Though it made no sense

And in the end
She came right through
Destiny it seemed
Knew just what to do

    1. I’m so glad you like it. Tbh, I never really liked poetry very much until I started writing it. Now, the words just sort of spill right out and I never quite know what’s coming. Lol… 😉

    1. Oh gosh, I seem to have created a murderous reputation for myself. Lol… Perhaps I should really be writing horror, which is of course the one genre I have always steered clear of reading. I can’t even watch a semi-scary movie without having nightmares. Lol… 😉
