Spilt Milk

Spilt milk
Never seemed to do much harm
But her mama acted
As if it were cause for alarm

So she tried her very best
To be prim and proper
For if she spilled her milk
Her mama would holler

Mistakes of any kind
Were never allowed
And if she did make a mistake
Her mama would fret and frown

Which is why nobody ever wanted
To make her mama mad
Cause she’d bring out that paddle
And spank you real bad

I’m afraid this story
Is completely true
And it’s why I gave my mama
A final adieu
