A knock at the door
And a males voice
Left the poor fella
Without any choice
Scurrying into his clothes
He made a quick dash
And was out the window
In a heart-thumping flash
Then lickety-split
She covered herself up too
And threw a blanket atop
A left behind shoe
She scurried to the door
With a lovely fake smile
Saying, “Oh, hello dear
haven’t seen you in awhile.”

  1. I’m wondering and laughing about the man running down the road without his shoe, and thinking will she want to wear his shoes !!….. Haha Michelle, I’m going back to front again, or going upside down…… I’m still recovering, and struggling to keep up with my blog site….

    1. Ha ha…. oh that made me laugh…. great comparison! I haven’t been over there in awhile….Not been keeping up with reading. Guess I’d best see what you’ve been up to. I’ll head right over. 🙂
