A Sea of Chardonnay

Surrounded by
The trendy upper class
A sea of chardonnay
Filled her glass

Picture perfect
In the eyes of all
Nobody noticed the tears
About to fall

A fake smile
Graced her pretty face
Adorned with pearls
And fancy lace

Her beauty hid
The pain inside
Comfort and warmth
Were always denied

And her fight
It never seemed to end
There was just nobody
In which she could depend

She appeared like many
To have it all
And yet inside
She felt so small

And in the end
It destroyed her heart
The insincere charade
Eventually tore her apart

    1. Aww Walt, thank you for always showing me how much you care. I think I am actually happier right now than I’ve ever been. I’ve got so many exciting things going on in my life at the moment, things I have not told too many people about. One of which you will soon find out about along with everyone else. So please don’t be worried. I have a feeling that this is going to be one of the best years yet. 😉
