The Tunnel of Love

All alone
In the tunnel of love
Next to him
She fits like a glove

The ride begins
And their fingers interlace
He pulls her closer
No time to waste

Afloat in the dark
His lips brush hers
Her mouth parts
And excitement stirs

She becomes lost
In his fiery kiss
Nothing could’ve prepared her
For a moment like this

A first for both
Neither can resist
Exploring hands
Rouse and persist

All too soon
The ride is over
Heads in the sky
They leave hungover

The looks they flaunt
Say it all
Love has surely
Come to call

  1. True, that first kiss will be remembered. But then there is that kiss that you know, right at that moment, that this will be the last person you will ever desire to kiss. That is the special one. Thank you for the reminder. Beautiful words my friend.

    1. Ha! That’s the year my husband was born! Lol… And thank you… It took me three days to finish this one. I haven’t really been in the mood to write romance lately, so I really struggled with this one. Almost gave up completely! 😉
