She can write for days
In a teary-eyed haze
And the more sadness that develops
The more ink she craves
And she sits in awe of the power
Of a good hard cry
Wondering how tears seem to cause
Such sorrowful thoughts to finally die

I’m also playing catch up, sigh. A beautiful poem Michelle. I believe tears are like window washed fluid… They let us see.more clearly.

A good hard cry is sometimes all we need to be able turn things around. Just gotta get it out there and let it go. ❤️
