Across the room
There you were
Nothing much
Just a big orange blur
Upon further inspection
You came into clearer focus
Suddenly blooming within my mind
Like a budding crocus
An unexpected delight
You captivated my mind
Why didn’t I notice before?
Why was I so blind?
And I’ve realized now
Just how ignorant I’ve been
For your beauty was always there
Hidden within

There is always so much beauty to be found in a painting. One just has to take a closer look sometimes. 😉
