In dreams, we stand
along the shore
against the waves
we can’t ignore.
The threat of turmoil
swirls at our feet,
but we both know
there’s no defeat.
For when we stand,
we abide together,
a bond so strong
it can’t be weathered.
Our love more resilient
with every tide,
shipwrecked we’d be
without the other beside.
