Moving mayhem

I haven’t had coffee in weeks
no desire to change the sheets

It’s all just gone to hell
this place where I currently dwell

Some furniture has disappeared
the rest is about to be cleared

Get me outta here I say
but this month won’t go away

Time has not been in my favor
so I continue to stew and labor

If only I could speed things up
I’d be happy as a jolly ol pup

  3. Relocating is so stressful and chaotic. Sorry to hear you’re experiencing this, Michelle. Hope it goes smoothly from here on out, and much more quickly so it’ll be over soon. 😊

    1. Thank you, Mike. It’s the last place I ever intend to move to, so there is an exciting feeling for that but also a weird feeling of finality. Can one ever truly decide on something so final and be okay with it? I’m not so sure…

  4. Some days weeks months the world seemed off kilter, eventually it resumes a steady course and we emerge from the other side different, stronger, a little wiser – I try and recall that when being tossed about.
