  1. Sometimes I feel invisible. I pretend it does not bother me, but it does. I suspect that as I age, my invisibility may increase. I will refuse to let it, I’m already fighting to stay relevant as much as I can. Your words are so strong, thanks for sharing! 🏄‍♂️

      1. Thanks for the hug! Have you heard the song from the musical ‘Chicago’? Mr. Cellophane…. The lyrics ‘Shoulda been my name, Mister Cellophane
        Cause you can look right through me, walk right by me
        And never know I’m there’. They really express that feeling. I’ve been telling a story and suddenly someone just talks right over me. My tendency is just to stop and see if anyone asks me to continue. Usually not! I suspect it is my delivery to begin with. I probably need a better delivery, something more assertive and forceful. Something to work on. Instead of whining about my predicament like ‘Mr.. Cellophane’, I can do something about it!

        1. I haven’t heard of the song, but I know the feeling well. The important conversations will come along at the right time and place. And you’ll not have to approach those people in any certain manner. You can always tell when you’ve met “your people” because the conversation flows easily and you never feel alone.
