Danny

I’ve noticed it’s the quiet that hits the hardest
The vacancy of your notifications on a busy day
The little interruptions I became quite accustomed to
And I miss those ever-loving interludes with you
The way you’d plead and beg for more time
I never quite understood how little time we had left
If only I’d known, I would’ve never said goodbye

Eternally aware

How does a love
grow so deep;
how does it fill us
until we weep?

Such a powerful force
rooted in the heart,
grown stronger each day
by never being apart.

Physically we can be absent,
as wonton bodies need rest,
and separation often helps
to put us to the test.

But to be intimate together
is about heart, soul, and mind;
that’s where the closeness is
forever aligned.

And so I’ll always be with you,
whether you go here or there,
connected by our love;
eternally aware.

Just waiting to be plastered
Some hearts never heal

He sent me a story
One of passion through pictures
When words were no longer needed
Because our hearts
Had already become one

Never

people-3422435_1280

We never really hit it off ― he and I
but oh how we tried.

And it was lovely at first,
it really was,
until that fateful day.

The spell finally broke,
the magic drifted away,
and I think we both felt the sting.

But we also both craved
something deeper ― meaningful.
And that something
just couldn’t
be found.
