Curves

Curves… what can I say?
I think mine have all come to stay.

Some of them are nice, others appalling,
but the ones who love me still consider me darling.

I think my best curves are the ones on display,
but even those seem to frighten some away.

Are people jealous or just in fear?
I’m just glad my curves will probably never disappear.

I think the best part of being curvy,
is using those curves when the guys get pervy.

Flaunting can be so much fun
especially when the taunting makes them come undone.

I think everyone should consider the benefits of curves,
even if they do sometimes get on your nerves.

A squishy body is something to be adored,
and if you marry a curvy woman, you’ll never be bored.

It took time, but it was all they needed

A pot of tea
steeping slow
allowed the conversation
to drift, then flow

A trembling hand
a splatter of cream
all witnessed beneath
a summer sunbeam

Starting with a look
a blooming glance
the wind stirred
in the sight of romance

Blushing boughs offered
a chance alone
doing all the things
some would never condone

With the wide old oak
shielding their play
prying eyes
slowly crept away

Rousing smiles rendered
a half giggle or two
as heartstrings seized
love anew

Soulmates

They sense
the pull
the tug
the distance
resistance

They feel
every thought
every question
every emotion
commotion

They know
the reality
the truth
the lies
sighs

They see
every move
every look
every disguise
wise

They love
the good
the bad
the best
blessed

They give
every piece
every purpose
every chance
romance

They bring
the fun
the hope
the laughter
banter

They are
every day
every way
every moment
ours

Sharing a post from my newest blog

Hello all… Just wanted to introduce you to my newest blog. I have been working on this idea for quite some time, and I just went live a few minutes ago. As you can see, I’ve done some rebranding of my name to become more discoverable online but feel free to still call me ~M if my nickname “Ellie” is confusing to you. I love you guys and hope you’re having a wonderful day. ~M (Aka ~Ellie 😉 xoxo

*Oh and a few people have been having a hard time finding the link to my new site. So here it is in case the one above doesn’t work. ellieevermore.com

Discovering the truth

Insecurities are pointless,
for you’ll never be forgotten
by someone who is meant for you;
the attachment goes far too deep
to be severed by passing fancy.

And inside the heart of every heart
one knows their true intentions.
Thus, nothing will ever fall away
when it is destined for your life.

Simply trust your intuition
as every soul reveals its secrets.
In actions so clearly displayed,
the final test resides so assuredly
within the eyes of those we seek.
