I am thankful for the life I have
For I’ve been blessed beyond reason
My creator has been with me
Through every tumultuous season
And that’s the only explanation
For why I’m still here today
Because without god in my life
I know I never would have found my way

Darkest night
No one here
To hold me tight
Always lonely
Nobody near
Forever alone
Is what I fear
And even god
Seems distant now
Even he
Has vanished somehow
And reality hits me
That this is it
I’m never getting out
Of this solitary pit

Mmmm… scrumptious and smooth
Rolling around on your tongue
Your sour drop dreams
Have only just begun
Juicy goodness
Mouth-watering tang
Sure to cure
Your sugar craving pang
Can you taste it?
So sumptuously sweet and sour
It’s tempting to bite it
And completely devour
It doesn’t get much more
Splendiferous than this
I implore you to share it
With a warm luscious kiss
