Writing prompt: Saucy suspicions

She stumbled upon a forest
Littered with crimson foliage and woodland white
And serenity found her there
Amidst the heavenly glow of the flaxen moonlight
The shadows were oddly comforting
Wrapping her in solace from the branches up high
And as she traversed her way through the verdure
She was awestruck by the moonlit sky
The old spotted owls called out to her
Welcoming her in like a dear old friend
And the peacefulness she found there
Was something she knew she could forever depend

I waited and waited
Yet he never did come
Seems my taco telepathy
Had finally been outdone
Apparently he found another
So much prettier than me
And now she’s the only one
He’s been longing to see

Writing prompt: Taco telepathy

A fragrant fog
Seeped under the door
Drifting lazily in
On that bare tile floor
And I watched as the room
Flooded with deadly gas
Everyone in the room screaming
Trying to make a mad dash
But the exit was blocked
And there was no escape
And I watched that horrific tale
On an old video tape
Scared to hardly breathe
After watching such a scene
How could anyone be
That cruel, that mean!
And yet it really happened
And it could happen again
Let’s not let history
Ever repeat itself again

Mmmm… scrumptious and smooth
Rolling around on your tongue
Your sour drop dreams
Have only just begun
Juicy goodness
Mouth-watering tang
Sure to cure
Your sugar craving pang
Can you taste it?
So sumptuously sweet and sour
It’s tempting to bite it
And completely devour
It doesn’t get much more
Splendiferous than this
I implore you to share it
With a warm luscious kiss
