I looked up…

I looked to the heavens,
and what did I find?
I found answers to my questions
of the heartwarming kind.
And isn’t it funny
how we never have to look far;
the answers they come to us
right where we are.
So next time I start to lose hope,
I’ll just look up once again.
And I’ll wait for the answers
from where they’ve always been.
I’ll keep trusting in the magic
of things unforeseen
and revel in the splendor
as the heavens intervene.

    1. Thanks so much, Jeff. Sometimes all our answers are right in front of us, but sometimes I forget to look. So this poem was written as a reminder to myself of where my main focus should always be. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. ❤️

    1. My trust often is too, but then I’m left with such an over abundance of unexplainable reassurance and I’m right back to believing in it again. 😉

    1. I’m so glad you liked it. I had an epiphany yesterday, and then the poem came to me soon after. I was lucky to come across the picture because sometimes a poem needs a great supporting image to complete the message and make it shine. I hope the sun is shining where you are. ☀️🙂
