Every morning…

Every morning
I see your face
Yearning for
A warm embrace

And just the sight
Of your sexy smile
Makes my day
So worthwhile

He doesn’t listen

people-2590564_1280

He doesn’t listen
and seems not to care.
Or is he just clueless
perhaps unaware?

I stomp my feet
I get so mad.
I think he likes it
when I’m sad.

This pattern of life
is frustrating as hell.
I just wanna shake him
and break the spell!

Surely he hears me
as he sits in his chair,
resembling a zombie
with a half-baked stare.

Do I have to dance naked,
would that bring him out?
If you knew him
even you would doubt.

He just doesn’t see me
and I’m always right here.
Being invisible
is what I most fear.

Tell me please,
what shall I do?
I’m being dismissed
like a worn out shoe.

I bet every woman
has faced this kind of day.
We should all just vow,
to go our own way.

Maybe we’d all get noticed
if their beds turned cold.
Weeks without sex,
would surely get old.

Don’t worry though, I’m fine!
Cause I just don’t even care.
I’ll wait and see how he likes it
when I stop washing his dirty underwear!

The keeper of her heart

man-802062_1280 (1)

He was the grantor
Of wishes
And the bearer
Of love
He was the giver
Of affection
And the maker
Of dreams
He was the bestower
Of kindness
And the producer
Of happiness
But most of all
He was the keeper
Of her heart

Kiss me…

Kiss me until I can’t breathe
Press your body close to mine
Do this every day to me
And feel our hearts entwine

Inarticulate musings

man-2013447_1280

A million poems
She attempted to start
For him who was there
Deep in her heart

But words could never capture
All she wanted to say
Every heartfelt thought
Seemed to flutter away

And in the end
She despised her mind
For it just couldn’t convey
All she desperately pined

So she gave up trying
Determined to let go
Of all those hidden words
That her heart didn’t know
