Wouldn’t it?

Wouldn’t it be satisfying
to always stay
right next to each other
arousing never-ending play

Wouldn’t it be something
to awaken the sky
watching us kiss
beneath its bright blue eye

Wouldn’t it be amazing
to go dipping our toes
in a stream faraway
where nobody goes

Wouldn’t it be exciting
to throw off all our clothes
existing in a place
where nobody knows

Wouldn’t it be romantic
to settle down in the shade
knowing absolutely nothing
could ever be forbade

Wouldn’t it be perfect
to be all alone
in a place like no other
blissfully unknown

Wouldn’t it be magical
to exist in a world beyond
like a tale that never ends
going on and on

Beguiled to wait

Another night
Another dream
Each one drifting
On a moonlit beam

Some were loving
Some were kind
Some were fashioned
To entice his mind

The days were short
The nights stretched long
Their appetites swelled
Unsatisfyingly strong

Daydreams came
And daydreams went
None could capture
Her intoxicating scent

Wondrous words
Wound their way
Over mountains and oceans
Resolved to stay

Years slipped by
As time stood still
Each day brimming
With vigor and thrill

Still, answers lingered
At the bottom of the sea
Forever just beyond
The lovers’ pleas

Exhausted, they yielded
To the pull of fate
Lost on a zephyr
Beguiled to wait

Lust colored love

We slept naked,
molten bodies like lava;
we collided.

You felt intense
but loving,
the perfect mixture
of naughty n nice.

I felt like you wanted
to cherish me,
then rape me;
love me,
but leave me hanging
by a lifeless thread.

And we were endless,
both lost in the dark,
floating away in an abyss
of nothing and everything.

Mixing like watercolors
with no describable color,
we lost ourselves
to our lusty love.

Our anchor out of reach,
we kept each other
from whirling away
into oblivion.

Holding steady in the still,
waiting for the light
to at last consume us.

Straying too far
from where we’d begun,
then saved at last
by the never-failing strands
of time.

We soon collapsed
side by side,
nestled in the downy bed
of our imperfections.
