Blank page

white-62015_1280

You stare at me
All bright and clean
Forever taunting
It’s so damn mean

I know your game
I’ve seen it before
Ever daring me
To come explore

To drip my ink
Upon your page
Convincing me
It’s all the rage

But what if I finally
Told you no
Would you then
Just let me go

Or would you dare me
To be your writer
Suggesting I stay
For an overnighter

I can tell you this
You’re wasting your attempts
Cause I feel nothing
But contempt

So unless you want
Your page turned grey
Think I’ll just
Be on my way

    1. Thank you Oneta. I had a fight with Microsoft Word, and this is what came out. Lol. Now if we could only crumple our computer screen paper like actual paper. That would be so satisfying. 😉

  1. “I know your game
I’ve seen it before” — reading this line reminded me of all the indecisive boys that I’ve dated before, now that I am more aware of early red flags I can now avoid these types of boys.

I also love the picture that blend with your words

    1. Thank you… I almost always include double meaning in everything I write. Some are more keen on noticing than others. So kudos to you for noticing. 😉 And yes, I agree, you gotta watch out for those early red flags. Wouldn’t it be such a wonderful world if everyone just played nice for a change.
