The notifications are gone
Flags all disappeared
No new email
The silence is weird
Feels almost like
The whole world is dead
As more illogical thoughts
Fill up my head
Maybe I’m crazy
Or so I’ve been told
But the quiet is depressing
When the screen has gone cold
And isn’t that the issue
The problem we all face
Think I’ve become a phone zombie
And it’s such a disgrace

I’ve got a love/hate relationship with mine. Think I’d throw mine away if it weren’t the only link I have to certain people.

I know, I really do… been cooped up in here forever. I did spend all day yesterday outside. So at least that was something. Unfortunately, it’s been raining today. Hope you’re doing good up there just north of me. 🙂
