Oh, Monday what can I say?
Your clouds aren’t very picturesque today.
Your vibe is off, your face isn’t sunny,
at least my eggs are still soft and runny.
Why are you always such a pill,
while all the other days give me such a thrill.
You make me feel down and somewhat dreary,
and even when you’re shinning I still get leery.
So now I’ve got this Mondayish vibe,
and thanks to you I might not survive.
Could you please be better when you come next,
so I don’t have to feel like I’ve been hexed.

This poem is such a fun and relatable take on the classic “Monday blues.” I love how you mix humor with vivid imagery—lines like “at least my eggs are still soft and runny” add a light, everyday charm that balances the dreariness. The playful rhyme scheme keeps it engaging while clearly expressing that off-kilter Monday mood many of us know too well. It feels honest, witty, and a little sarcastic in the best way. By the end, the poem almost feels like a friendly plea to Monday itself, which makes it both amusing and endearing. Great job capturing a universal feeling with personality!

This made me smile. Even if Monday’s a pill, your wordplay is a vitamin. Here’s to softer skies and stronger coffee next week!
